Hello Sian
We have some information of the SEYS family, especially from Boverton, Llantwit Major, GLAM.
My wife is descended from Richard SEYS 1639-1714 and his second wife Wenllian c1663-1750. Their only child was Elizabeth SEYS c1703-? who firstly married Evan SEYS 1653-1733 in 1724 at Llantwit Major, [no children].

Elizabeth then married c1734, Lewis PRICE 1712-1744 of Llanedy, CARM. son of Francis PRICE, Sheriff of Carmarthen of Plas Newydd and Erw Wastod Llanedy. These are the 6xg,grandparents.

The family lived at Boverton and Hotwells, Bristol where Lewis PRICE died, but is buried at Llantwit Major.

Their son Richard PRYCE 1736-1800 married Jane VAUGHAN of Lurkenhope, nr Knighton, RAD, their son Richard Seys PRYCE 1769-1855 was an Excise Officer and married Edith BLEBY of Winchcombe, Glos.

We would be very interested to receive a copy of the handwritten tree to check against our findings and would be pleased to supply any links to the SEYS you may need.

The new[Sep2009] site of Community Tree at Histfam of the Familysearch, LDS has records of the SEYS but some info. needs checking for accuracy.
