My SEYS were in Zeeland by the early-mid 16 hundreds. I was told by a Dutch genealogist that they probably came from Germany through Belgium to Zeeland. Perhaps this was to avoid war or some other economic problem. Do you know if there were any problems in Belgium at that time?
