Thanks. I've now traced the relevant *records for this marriage, although - another interesting spelling variation - Thomas's surname is listed as "Shepherd"!

Sorry, I have no information about his two children, other than what's listed on my copy of the 1881 census return. These are the only children shown, apart from Jane's (ie, "stepsons", in relation to Thomas as head of the household, Jesse and William).
