Hello, I am Gerald SEYS I live in california but I my origine is from France, I have being reasershing the name SEYS for 10 years now and went back in the year 980 when the first SEYS cam out of Danmark and Emigrate in Ireland, also the first SEYS to come to the US was johan Hantz SEYS who jump the boat comming from the Nertherland in 1706, the is Registered in the books of the Baltimor recorder office
Also in the judiciary Rolls of wales in 1295-1314 recorded the name SEYS County of Cork and Kildare,I have many informations about My Ancestors and I am trying to put all of that info in a webb page for the History of SEYS ,we have many surnames and here they are, SEYES,SECK,SAYS,SEYS,SAYE,DE SEY,SAUCE,SEXE,SAUS,SAXE,SEIX.you may look at all those surnames and you will find more info,also sisk is an other one the reason we have so many surnames is that the scribs were writting our Name the way it sound most of the peoples in that time did ont know who to write , if you have other info for me please let me know and I will try to help you with your search ,thank you Gerald SEYS
