Thanks for that.
Our SEYS line has been traced back to about the year 1000 in Wales, then the name was spelt SAIS or SEIS. It has been spelt SEYS since 1600 when Roger Seys of Boverton in S Wales was Attorney General to Elizabeth I and his wife Elizabeth was a Lady of The Bedchamber.
Gregory SEYS features somewhere along the line.
