Welcome to the all-consuming 'hobby' of genealogy!!! My name is Cindy (Corwin) Lobb. My great-Aunt, Hattie (Corwin) Burrell, had submitted information about our family for the Shackleton Family Book in the 1960's. We go back to Francis Shackleton in the early 1800's, and I am stuck!

I had seen this book many years ago at the Fort Wayne, Indiana Library and had wanted a copy of my own. During the Christmas season I was searching for an out of print book for my boss on the internet. for the heck of it, I entered Shackleton, and low and behold, someone actually had a copy for sale. It was a bookstore in Australia. so as a Christmas present, my boss paid for the book for me.

Did Bernice have any other information that did not make it into the book? If you are interested, I can supply some additional names for the Shackleton/Corwin line.

Also, I had subscribed to the newsletter you mentioned. Is the man to last printed it still around? I think he lived in Utah at the time. Paul J________???

Again, welcome! I hope you enjoy it! I'm glad to see someone is willing to pick up where Bernice left off.
