Looking for John or Jonathan Shamp that lived , and was born in southeast PA early 1800's. B. between 1811-1813. He died July 15, 1886 at Plymouth, OH. He married Rachael Davis, from Maryland, on Jan. 19, 1832 in Loudenville, OH. Their children were Jonathan L., Thomas E., Mary, Amanti?, Berry or Gerry?. Possible son of John/Jonathan also that moved towards or into Ohio. This family is in my line. I think all Shamp's/Schamp's are related. Found a Shamp in early New York (New Amsterdam) in the 1600's, which may have been the starting point.
This John has been a nemesis for two decades.
Would appreciate any help. Thank you, Dale.
