Regarding your Jesse Alonzo Shamp...quite coincidental that there is a Norman Alonzo Rise Schamp b. 7-14-1864 in Floyd, Iowa who married Jessie Alida Dennis 1885 in Lincoln, Nebraska in our family. Also, the name Jessie, Jesse Shamp and the given names of Lester and Ida are in our family throughout. Shamp/Schamp used interchangably often in the family. Our family originated in Pennsylvania to Ohio, but branched out. Would be interested in hearing more from you. cmcgu33627@aol.com Carolyn McGuire
I am avidly researching Aaron and Isaac Shamp.
