Thomas E. Shamp (Champ), VA, c1700

Help from Shamps needed. In researching Champe line in Westmoreland/Stafford/Prince William/Farifax/Loudoun Counties of Colonial Virginia, I have found an IGI record of a John Champ, born 1714, parents unknown, but relative given as Thomas E. SHAMP.

Are there any Shamps or Shamp researchers about these days who have an idea regarding Thomas E. Shamp.

The Champe (Champ) families I am pursuing went from VA to KY and what is now WV after Revolutionary War, one branch went on to Ohio in early 1800's, and on west; others went into TN, MO and TX.
