I am looking for the first name of my 2nd-g-grandfather. Last name was Shanibarger (could be spelled Shanabarger, Shannabarger, Shaneberger, etc). Census says he was born in Ohio. He was married to Julia Gordon, probably around or before 1843. They had 5 children that I know of: Margaret (1844), Elias (1845 born in Mifflin Twp), Jacob (1849), John (1851) and Mary E. (1853). Possibly had another son Eliah 1855, but this is not confirmed. Julia remarried sometime after that and had a son in 1858 and lived in Munroe Twp in 1870 census, so assume that Mr. Shanibarger died between 1853-1858. Any information on this family would definitely be appreciated.
