Shank/Shenk emigrants 1700s
My "Emigrants, Refugees and Prisoners, Vol I-III" books are now out of print, but if you don't have copies of the books and would like to see the information in the books, go to my website at www.MennoSearch.com.
The website is actually a "web book" of 2800 pages and growing.I have 150 pages on the Shank family following the family from the year 1470 in Eggiwil, Bern, Switzerland to about the year 1840.I not only follow the family of my ancestor, Michael Shenk who arrived in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in 1717, but of his brother Hans and his cousins who also emgirated.I follow their descendants from Pennsylvania to Maryland, Virginia and other states.
MennoSearch.com also has genealogies and notes on many other Mennonite families.
