I am looking for more information on the 1925 Teachers tour around America.

Here is a clip from the South Pittsburg newspaper about the start of the trip.

I have many photos of the trip taken by my Dad, Alba Bloss. A few of the pictures are now on display at the SP library. I would love to share some of the pictures with anyone who can share more details about the trip.

Wilson New Conducts Party
Faculty of South Pittsburg Schools Will Visit Far West Before Returning
Prof. and Mrs. Wilson New and a party composed of members of the faculties of the South Pittsburg and Richard City schools left last Tuesday for an automobile tour that will include visists to Washington and New York, followed by a trip to Yellowstone park and California.
The party left South Pittsburg in two automobiles, and carried camping equipment for the entire personnel.
The automobile tour was substituted this year for summer school work at the suggestion of the state department of education.
Those making trip are: Prof. and Mrs. Wilson New, Miss Barbara New, Misses Maud Chastain, Dorothy Gilliam, Sybil Crumbliss, Sarah Collins, Edna Brown, Cecyl Womack, Agnes Scharer, Helen Frazier, Mary Orme Sayles and Sam Crumbliss. Alba Bloss accompanied the party as a chauffer.
