Hello, I'm trying to track down information on some ancestors who were from central PA (Clearfield County area).
Looking for details on Anna A. Sharer, my great-great grandmother. I have an obituary which lists her birthdate (27 April 1870) and death in 1936. She married Alexander Sharer in 1888.
I am trying to confirm who her parents were. The obituary lists them as Isaac and Elizabeth Sharer. Not sure if she married a cousin....also, in some records Anna's family's name is listed as Sharrar. Wondering if anyone might have any information that might shed some light on this?
Also looking for details on Oscar Sharer, Anna's son and my great grandfather. I know he was born in the area, went off to serve in WWI and lived in Ohio. The paper trail on him goes cold after 1930. We'd heard he'd moved to New York but I have no death date or record.
