William Shasteed/een Jackson Co.,TN 1814

Can someone tell me who the William Shasteed/Shasteen was who served in Colonel Robert Steele's West TN Militia Infantry Regiment under Captain James Bennett from January to May 1814 during the War of 1812? He traveled 130 miles from his residence in Jackson Co., TN to Fayetteville, TN to be mustered into service.

There was a William Sheasten listed in the 1825 tax list for neighboring White County.

"The Jackson County Family History Book," published in 1996 by the Jackson County Historical Society has a biography about Joel Anderson on page 50. The bio. states Joel Anderson, Sr. born 1781 in Cumberland Co., VA first married Ann Shasteen and they had one child. Who was Ann Shasteen? Who were her parents?

Any help with these names will be greatly appreciated.
