hello ,Iam currently doing some digging on the O'shaughnessy family.my name is rebecca bentley, great granddaughte of mary o'shaughnessy vater.i am actually a mendon mo,native(where all my family settled) however according to history books, my ggm, mary was from keytesville, which is where i live now. my search into the o'shaugnessy history, started only last week. i am looking for information about thomas o'shaughnessy, who was a cousin of ggm, according to what we have in our history book, for our church, he was astained glass worker. however, my elderly aunts and uncles remember him as "gus'the man i'm looking for settled in the chicago areaand had two children, joe and mary, iam trying to determine if gus(this is how all of my relatives remember him) and tom are one in the same. i am presently on the church remodeling committee of st. joseph, hurricane branch.(thus the interest in the stained glass windows) this is where i attend church and many of my ancestors are buried in the adjoining cemetery. the first actual mass for this parish was held several miles from there at the country home of tom o'shaughnessy's grandparents, the mullholands. our actual church building is around 130 years old. i can probably help you with a few questions, i am 46 years old, but myfather Joseph koehl ,is 72 and i have several aunts and uncles in there 80 &90's. anxious to hear from you. rebecca jo (koehl)bentley 660 288 3861 or 660 392 5122
