i am interested in obtaining information on the surname shawn. gladys shawn payne was born in indiana but moved to owensboro, kentucky and perhaps later to louisville. she would have been born in the late 1800s. she had several children (paynes) in owensboro, most of whom later moved to louisville. any info out there?
