The first William Sheads to appear in Melchior Sheads lineage is in the 4th generation. Melchior (1) => Johnannes (2) m. Anne Ickes => their children were John (3), Michael (3), Peter (3), Nickolas (3), and Samuel "Bronzio" (3). John (3) m. Unknown and had three children => William (4) Rosanna(4), and John H. "Shroder" (4). William's dates unknown. John H. b. 1832, Rosanna b. 1835. I have lots of information in third generation Peter, some on Samuel and John. Unfortunately, nothing additional to offer on Michael and Nickolas at this point in my research. In the absense of dates associated with our 2nd and 3rd generation ancestors, this may or may not be the William Sheads in question.
