I'm not much of a genealogy person, though I'm certainly interested in family history. Looking at your post I'm not seeing any "ah hah's" just yet. But there are a lot of "hmmmm's". 1) Brennan is a name related to my Sheehy family. My father's cousin, I think. 2) My great grandfather, Patrick Sheehy (of course) came from Listowel in County Kerry to New York and then to Pennsylvania about the time of the Civil War. He was born in Listowel in 1840. 3) If my memory serves, Patrick had a brother who came over afterward but I don't know his first name or anything about his family. 4) This is not particularly remarkable given the Irish proclivity to recycle first names ... but some of the first names you mention appear in my family's tradition (I'm the third Patrick ... my father had that name). My grandfather was Thomas and he named his other son Thomas. We also have John, Kathleen, Mary, Lucy, Nellie, Anne, Catherine and so on. The usual suspects.
