Thomas Sheeran 1800-1875??

Hello everyone. I'm new to this so please excuse me if I'm asking questions that are not informative enough. I'm looking to find out information on Thomas Sheeran, who was my gr. gr. grandfather. I believe Thomas was from Killinagh, in County Cavan. His son, Daniel David Sheeran immigrated to the US in 1879 at the age of 19. He landed in Boston and eneded up, in 1880, in Milwaukee.

I found David's naturalization papers indicating he was born in Killinagh and his father was Thomas Sheeran and his mother was Rosa Nolan.

Any information that could be provided would be most helpful, as would any tips on how to research this further.

Thank you,

Jim
