Renee,
Specifiablly what are you looking for concerning Daniel Frederick and Mary Steele Shehane?
Found Shahan born 1790 in Ireland.Saw where Daniel's farther was noted as Shahan( evidently a name change & his mother as Fanny.
Have sent a quire to The S.C. State Archives to see what information they have. Daniels farther had to be in Lancaster Co. S,C,in 1820. Thats why, while I am in Rock Hill, S,C. this week I Will go by The York County Library and check the early 1800 Lancaster Co. S,C, Census.

Renee I like to help and share information with others and in doing this search I may find the parents of my great grand farther James B. Shehane born 1837 in Lancaster Co., S.C.
Bob Finley, Sr.
