Have you checked Shellhouse (and other spellings) also.In the book "Pioneers of the Old Monocacy, The Early Settlement of Frederick Co., MD, 1721-1743" by Grace L. Tracey & John P. Dern is the following information:page 287 - "Abraham Miller died at his home on september 20, 1754...." (left land to his widow Frances)."Frances Miller, a Protestant Dissenter who would affirm but not swear, married a Shelhorse as her second husband.There is much required work remining for the genealogy of this family."
There is not mention of his first name, and there are no other people with this surname in the index.
