Thank you so much for your response. However, I have found much information concerning the Shelnutt family since I posted this message.
My gggrandmother is Sarah Shelnut who is the daughter of Thomas Pink Shelnutt. In my hometown is Ralph Shelnutt who is grandson to Joseph Thomas Shelnutt son of Thomas Pink Shelnutt. My gggrandmother was sister to Joseph Thomas and her name is not Sarah M. but is Sarah Ann Shelnutt. She married James Wyatt Gentry in AL. and they lived in Cleburne Co. and Cullman Co. AL before they moved to Benton, Saline Co., AR around 1891. By the way the spelling of the name Shelnutt is spelled with two tt's, but Ralph told me he had a brother who changed the spelling of his name to Shelnut.
Another interesting thing is Thomas Pink Shelnutt's sister Eatha Malinda Shelnutt married James Wyeth Langley who is brother to Mary Elizabeth Langley. Mary married Joseph R. Gentry. Their son, James Wyatt Gentry married Sarah Ann Shelnutt. So my gggrandparents were first cousins.
