Hi-

My ggg grandmother Martha E. Shelnutt RUCKER and her siblings made the trip from Georgia with their parents between 1844 and 1847. Her parents were John G. and Rachael Malinda LONGINO SHELNUTT, and they migrated from Walton Co., GA.

John (widowed by 1871) and two of his six children eventually moved on to Texas. The remainder of the children stayed in the Columbia, MO area.
