Ok, I have some info. for you and see if it helps.

To join the Shelton DNA Project, try contacting Margaret Shelton at mshelton@calweb.com. She is still listed as the project coordinator. If that doesn't work, type into your browser "tina's dna results". Then look for "dna test results - comcast. That SHOULD take you to the 131 Shelton/Skelton/Chilton results page that Tina Hall keeps. You will also find some dna info. there.

Again, you can only trace your Shelton dna by finding a male Shelton relative. Males can test for both male and female dna. Women can only test for their moms dna, which goes mom, to mom to mom etc..

Also, you may e-mail "Knights5@aol.com". This is a group of Shelton researchers (150 or so). You write, ask to join the group (its free)and give them as much info as you can. Lot of knowledgable people who are willing to help. Just hope you don't trace back to a Wm. of the Dan River. That's me. So far, no one matches me and Wm.'s origins remain a mystery.

Hope this helps.
