I am new to this.
I should have the same document to paste to each posting of interest.
I am trying to trace my family.
My grandmother's family is from Newquay, Cornwall.
I believe her first name was Clementine, last name Shepard or Shephard.
I think her mother or Grandmother was a midwife in Newquay.
She married George Spencer. Had three children, Greta, Tom, and George.
They moved to Montreal, then New Haven Conn. USA.
both died inthe mid 1950s in the states.
Clemetine Shephard had siblings.
I know her family ran an Inn of sorts in Newquay.
I know a former address was 6 Sydney in Newquay. I know the numbers on the street have changed since then.
There was a brother or uncle named Leonard. He was younger...maybe by 14 -- 17 years. Leonard Shephard ran a wool or sweater factory in Newquay, Cornwall.
I know there was an Uncle named Percy or Percival Shephard.
He painted primarily in water colors and seemed to do many scenes of the Cornish sea side.
I think Percy moved to Montreal as well.
That's all I know.
I am interesting in tracing the family in Cornwall.
Please let me know if you can be of any help.
Thanks.
