Can anyone please help me "connect the dots" between this first Ulster, Ireland/South Carolina Shearer/Sherer line below to this second Jasper, Alabama Sherer line (which is mine):

Matthew & Sarah Shearer came from Ulster, Ireland with their son Hugh & his wife Lydia and their son William. they were given a land grant.

The tree is as follows:

Matthew Sherear m. Lydia,
William Sherer m. Abigail
3 children, Lydia, Hugh II, Thomas Sherer Sr
Thomas Sherer Sr m. Ann Robinson
5 children, William II, Abigail, Sarah, Richard, Tirzah
WilliamII m. Martha Minter
9 children, James, John, Terrisse., Absalom, Elisha,Madison, William, Jefferson, Loryhami
Absolom Sherer m. Rainey Kirkpatrick
Rainey was his 2nd wife. Altogether there were11 children, John, William, samuel, Joseph, Alabama, Thomas, Enoree, Sarah, William, Terahi, Charles
Thomas Sherer m. Elizabeth Rogers, they had 6 children, Roscoe, Sam, alice, Maude, Pearl & Robert.
The Sherers I listed lived in Bullock, S C until Absalom migrated to Jasper, Walker county, Alabama.

children are:
Ray Madison Sherer (still alive)
Ann (Sherer) Guinn
Thomas Howard Sherer
John Allen Sherer
Helen (Sherer) Mallory
Martha Evelyn (Sherer) Brakefield (b. 1912, d. 1957, married Erskine Powell Brakefield)

Sorry for the scant info on the second line, but that's all I've got to work with right now. Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you!
