Edward Sherer, born in Holmes County, Ohio on April 9, 1809.
Married Elizebeth Buzzard, oldest child of Captain Jonathan and Margery Buzzard on March 25, 1830. Edward along with his Father-in-law and a few others founded the town of Seneca Missouri, arriving in 1833. For the full story and genealogy tracing, there is a book published by the Seneca Historical Society, called "Seneca, Missouri - Little Town On The Border", Vol. one and Vol. two. Vol. one having much information on the Sherer family.
