My Great Grandmother was the daughter of Alfred Sherer. Is it possible that he is one of the brothers? She was born in 1852 and Baptisted at St Mary Rotherhithe. She had a sister, Elizabeth born and Baptised at St Peter Walworth and a brother, George born in 1848. They seem to come from the same area so I am keeping my fingers crossed!
