I have a g-grandfather Leo Sylvester Sheridan dob: 1924, dod: 1965 he was a undertaker in Brooklyn, NY. His father with the same name dod: 1937.Then his father named John Sheridan dod: unk. dob: 1868. All buried in Holy Cross.
Then on the other side of the family was the Tighe connection.MaryTighe dod: 1963 who would be a gggrandmother to me. Her father Christopher Tighe dod: 1836 and her mother Mary (Manning) Tighe. dod: 1886. All buried in the same grave in Holy Cross.
I also have on the Sheridan's side that would be siblings to Leo Sheridan (father John) Joseph, James, Nicholas, Helen, Ellen. There could be more but I can not find any so far.It seem this was a very big family coming from Ireland.
Other last names associated with this line are Cloonan, McCabe, Geoglehan, Flannigan, Kennedy, Callahan.
I would enjoy hearing from you if this a connection.
My dad grew up in Brooklyn, New York.
Thank you,
Stacy, P.O Box 114, Kent, WA.
