Dave:::
If you will look in a book entiltled "Pennsylvania German Society", " List of Indetures" page 233, there was a Thomas Sheridan arrived on May 29, 1773 in port of Monmouth Co., Upper Freehold Twp, NJ assigned to Joseph Taylor.... indentured for 4 years.... then I found Thomas Sheidan in the New Jersey 5th Additional Regiment of the Contenetal Army, 1777 to 1780,under Colonel Malcolm...Could this be a relative?????... let me know as I have more info....
