Nanci,
I don't recall a suite by the step-children of George D. Sherrill.A number of his grandchildren brought suite, however. It was from this suite that it was decided that my John B. Sherrell was not the son of George Davidson Sherrill. The rationalization was that even IF some provisions had been made for John B. prior to George Davidson's death, John B.'s children would have probably been in the suite with the other grandchildren.
I have information on Samuel Brislin Sherrill, but nothing on William Morgan Sherrill other than he had a son Carl A.I will be glad to share what I have on Samuel B. if you wish.Sources that I have for him are 1820 Census Index for Tennessee; 1812 Tax List for Franklin Co., Tn.; 1820 & 1830 Census for Franklin Co., Tenn.; George D. Sherrill's will; Mary Sherrill's book; and the 1850 Census for Tishomingo Co., Mississippi.
I will continue looking for materials if any of this helps you.
