I'd be interested in the 1914 history you mention in your posting. I've seen conflicting info on this descendancy -- some sources show Anna Maria Charlotta Harte (or Hart) as the wife of Johannes Schiffert, and listing Jacob and Anna Maria Schiffert as children, but I've seen at least one reference to Maria Wagner as his wife (but without showing children), and another listing her name as "Maria C. (nee unknown)." Any light you can shed on this will be helpful - thanks!
