Hi Joan
Gary said you were looking for the Shills of Iowa. I am a direct decendent of Andrew Shill of Marion-Pottowattamie County. His Uncle was Jacob Shill. I am not 100% sure if your Jacob and mine are the same but the gap seems to be getting smaller. Do you have any information on Jacob's brothers. My Jacob had Henry, Lawrence, Joseph. Sisters Mary, Elizabeth and a couple of more. I don't have my notes with me. Jacobs father would be Lawrence of PA and mother Elizabeth. There children were born either in PA or Shelby OH. Some cousins in Dayton and Montgomery Co. What exactly do you have?
I hope to get to OHIO this week or shortly thereafter to see the death record of Lawrence and Elizabeth. They are buried in Beavertown Cemetery.

Let me know.

Caryn Shill
