Hi

Looks like Gary, Russ and Christy and Joan are all from the same branch. Jacob Shill did indeed come from PA. He was born in Trapp PA in 1800. He is the brother to my ggg Grandfather Henry. He also has a brother Joseph and Lawrence. He has a sister Mary, Rebecca, and I'm not at home so the other two excape me. There parents are Lawrence Shill(Schell) and Elizabeth (Prugh).
Lawrence was born in Maryland in 1772. He and Elizabeth are buried in Beavertown Cemetary outside of Dayton OH. Most of there children settled in Ohio to start there families then moved on the IA and Indiana. I have exact dates on Lawrence and Elizabeth. I was lucky as we had a family bible that went quite far back and my grandmother did a lot of personal research back in the fifty's and sixty's. Before computers. Jacob is listed as Henry's brother. My research stops at Lawrence. I havn't been able to go back any further. the records in Trapp, PA are very limited. I will have to go and check Church records. I am going to Ohio to check birth records. If any one wants me to check there line I will be in Montgomery County and Shelby county and there about.

Caryn Shill
