Hi Kathryn, I saw your message on William A. Shill and I wish I knew more also. I found a note in my mothers things after she passed away and it stated the following. William Shill's brothers were members of the Reichtag in Germany. This is the same as the American Congress. They were of German and French descent. One of the Shill cousins in New Orleans told me of finding something on him, a passenger list or something. Mother also noted he immigrated to a German colony in South Carolina and there met Delila Nelson. E-mail me sometime. Nancy Blackman
