Good Morning, Cousin!
If my brother's research is accurate: Frederick von Schilling and his wife came to this country in 1826. Frederick Shillinger was born that same year (September 12, 1826). Your family is from his 3rd marriage [Margaret (Maggie)Tyree, b. Sept. 12.1856--I visited this lady in the 1940s and have a picture of her I will find it and copy to you after the holidays, if you do not have a likeness.]
Their children were: William (September 9,1875), Frank (Feb. 1,1879), Irwin (June 10,1879--Don't ask me how this can be! I believe my brother goofed.),Earl Levi (December 7, 1882; m. Clara Sutherland), Merton Charles (December 18, 1884; m. Maude Ellen Hoyt.), Bessie Anna (January 25,1888), Harriet (Hattie) Isabel (March 28, 1889; m. John Isem Mistler),Lela Ethel (November 6, 1892; m. Clark Brown); Reuben (February 11, 1895; m. Olive Fisher), Archie Oliver (February 16, 1896; m. Irene Vanable).
Did you meet Hattie? I believe I recall her visit to St. Louis, but I would like a discription of her to be certain it is the same person.
Bob followed the Mistler family down to a William Richard Lee born in 1940, so he must have had personal contact, I know he would enjoy adding your family, also.
Have a happy holiday.
