I'm looking for information about my wife's grandfather and grandmother.
Jacob M. Shipley, b. 13 Jan 1865, d. 2 Nov 1942 and Mary J. "Mollie" Shipley, b. 20 Jul 1859, d. 7 Jun 1934. Shipley is
her maiden name as well as her married name. Both are buried in Roller Cemetery in Sullivan County, TN, as are some of their children.
Don't know where they were born, but, at time of death, they lived on a farm on Fall Creek Road in the Indian Springs area of Sullivan County, TN.
They had, as far as I know, seven children:
Ida Blanche, who passed away at about 20 years of age..never married...no children.
John Roy, who died in infancy...abt 6 months.
Mary, who married Elmer Atkins.
3 sons: Henry, James Edward, Hobart and Dana.
James Edward, my wife's father, had his name legally changed to Theodore Roosevelt when he was a young boy.
