Looking at Richard's .1111 (s/o Adam .111) children, very little information is given regarding their locations. Richard died 1787 in WA Co. (MD?) Land conveyed by his kids lay across lines of FR Co. MD and Dauphin Co. PA.

His kids: Adam, Jane, Richard A, Ruth, John, Benjamin, Mary.

You mention having additional, or corrected information about Ruth .11114 that was not corrected in the 2002 book. She remained in Maryland? Her siblings Mary, Adam, John & Benjamin seem to disappear. Adam said to have died by 1792; how do we know this?

An excerpt from an old queary mentions " Mary Ann SHIPLEY was married to Hanson HOBBS on 22 Jan 1791 in Baltimore County. Mary Ann SHIPLEY, Hanson HOBBS, and Mary Ann's brothers Adam SHIPLEY and Benjamin SHIPLEY moved to Washington County, Pennsylvania about 1800. Hanson HOBBS' father Hanson HOBBS died in Frederick County (possibly Washington County) sometime after 1768."

Is this accurate? And, was Hanson Hobbs related to Amelia Hobbs who m. Benjamin Shipley (Richard, Richard, Adam)as his second wife in 1791? Their children listed as Nathan, Joshua H., Elizabeth, Hamutal, Eliza, Mary Ann, Rachel.

Census
SHIPLEY ADAM PA WASHINGTON SMITHS 1800 & 1810
SHIPLEY EZEKIEL PA WASHINGTON SMITHS 1800
SHIPLEY JOHN PA WASHINGTON SMITHS 1800 & 1810
also
SHEPLEY JOHN PA DAUPHIN UPPER PAXTON TWP 1800
(Could he be related because of the conveyed land?)

Did any other Shipleys move to western PA along the MD border?

Any ideas? Thanks.
