Happy Greetings - Mme Mary B. Kegley, leading authority on Wythe, provided the below - at least you can see Emsley in it!
Not much here on any of those families. HOWEVER, in the school records (Overeers of the Poor and teachers' reports I found on the floor of basement at the courthouse) reveal three possible items, which may or may not apply. The records are published in Lost Children, pages 19 and 21 and page 28 .
page 19, Sept. 22, 1835, teacher Daniel Brown, lists among others John, age 13, child of Jesse Sine (?). The name was not clear to me, hence the question mark.
page 21, March 10, 1836, same teacher, lists among others, John age 13, child of Jesse Siner (?).
page 28, Sep. 15, 1837, Daniel D. MacRae teacher lists among others, Emsly, age 10, child of Kissey Mize.
Marriages: Elizabeth Siner was married to George Creger 3 Sept. 1839 by Rev. Casper Yost, Methodist.
Pamela Siner, was married to Jonathan Neice March 15, 1832 by Lewis S. Marshall.
No Mize marriages 1790-1853
