Walter Johnston allowed $10 for nursing & funeral Expence of Mrs. Spoon, poor person. Ord. James Lowery allowed $2.50 for making coffin for Mrs. Welch. Ord. John S. King allowed $15 for nursing Sarah Cunningim in her Last Sickness. Ord. Cole & Barr allowed $3 for blanks furnished Os. Poore. Ord. Christopher Myars allowed $5 to aid in his support; to be applied by John Maden. Ord. Jacob Morell allowed $2.50 for making coffin for Stephen Davenport & $1.25 for making coffin for Polly Anderson. Ord. B. H. Pemberton allowed $3 for Articles furnished E. Shiplet, poor person. Ord. Henry Davenport allowed $5 for aid rendered Mary Duncan, poor person; to be applied by John Madon. Ord. David McCrackin allowed $2.50 for making coffin for Mrs. Ellis & $1 [?] for making coffin for C. Flanaganís child. Ord. A. C. Maxwell allowed $10 for medical aid rendered Bowman. Ord. Wm. Litteral allowed $2.50 for making coffin for Margaret Wallace. Ord. Jane Roe allowed $5 for aid as midwife to Rachel Roberts.
In same work, a "Mrs. Shipley" died in c1855: p. 235 [numbered 233]: Meeting of [blank] day May 1855. Present: JLD, Prest., DBC, JMd, LF, PF, TJMcC, & ARP, Overseers: Ord. James McCann allowed $3.50 for making coffin for Polly Rudy & child. Ord. Jacob W. Viss [Vess] allowed $2 for making coffin for Mrs. Shipley.
