I recently obtained info that Polly Shippy is my g.g.g.g.g.g. grand mother. Her Son was Isiah Davis (Sr.) he had a son Isiah Davis who married a Polly Witham. They had a son named Jerome Bonaparte Davis who married an Electra Carpenter. They had seven children. One of whom was Mercy Davis my great-great grandmother who was married to a William Watson. They had 11 children one of whom was Myrtle Blanch Watson who married Martin O'Keefe. They were my great grandparents. They had 3 children. One was my grandpa Miles(Jim)Allen O'Keefe.
The Isiah who had been married to Polly Witham also showed a second marriage to an Olive Davis. Many children were listed under Polly Witham and Isiah Davis. Some to show Vermont, New York and PA as birthplaces. Not exactly how true all of this info is but I found it at ancestry.com by typing in a search for my great grandmother Myrtle Blanch Watson that pulled up a correct spouse name of Martin O'Keefe so researched all the names. I have many sibling names to Myrtle Watson, Mercy Davis and to Jerome Bonaparte Davis also. I don't have any deltailed info on Polly Shippy such as birth place/death dates origin. Do you?
