I apologize--I meant to say that Andrew McLeish, not Thomas Shippy, was from Scotland. I think that it was getting late when I wrote my last message (C: I don't actually have any evidence that Andrew was Scotish, but on an ancestor chart that was passed out at a family reunion, I have the name "Andrew Highland McLeish, Scotland, British soldier" written down as Frances father. I haven't been able to find out yet who made the chart in order to see if they know anything else about him, but I'm still searching. Have you had a chance to compare the pedigree for Amy Montross at familysearch.com with what you found in Dallas? I know that some of the files at that site have been verified, but others have not. Would you mind sharing with me what you found in Dallas? My email address is retroyer@hotmail.com Also, do you have any information past Zebulan Shippy? Thanks for your help!
Rebekah
