HI DIANNA
IVE BEEN LOOKING INTO ROBERT SHIPTON
OF ROWAN CO NC
I "LIKE HIM" ALOT
AS A POSSIBLE FATHER FOR MY REBACKER SHIPAND
NOWHERE IN GENWEB DO I FIND SHIPAND SURNAME

IN THE 1790 CENSUS
HES THE ONLY SHIPTON IN ROWAN CO
ALSO MY ANCESTORS
ABSALOM CAMERON
AND HIS FATHER (IF IM RIGHT)ALSO A JOHN
ARE LISTED AT LINE 664 AND 665 IN THE CENSUS
ROBERT SHIPTON IS EITHER 740 OR 770
CLOSE ENOUGH TO GO "SPARKIN"
AS GRANNY USED TO SAY

AND ON TOP OF THAT
ABSALOMS SON JOHN
WHO I SUSPECT
WAS THE JOHN IN THE MARRIAGE IN 1815
WAS BORN 1794
THE AGE COULD FIT ONE OF THE 2 UNKNOWN DAUS.
AND HES THE AGE OF 21 AT THE TIME

WHAT DO YOU THINK?
SEEYA
