Hello Diana,
My Shipton line is from John Shipton I, who married Mary Spear/Speer Oct. 1757 in Baltimore Co.,MD. Would certainly like to know where this Johh Shipton came from. I have searched the records of Jamestown, VA and found there, a Thomas Shipton, who would have come over in 1607. I wonder if this is where these Shiptons started in this country or if they came over later.
Any information you can add is always a holp.
