Jonathan Roy Shirkey(#1) and John Greenberry Shirkey (#2)and John A. Shirkey (#3) are 3 different people.
I show Jonathan R. Shirkey had dtr Martha M. Shirkey, b. 1874; mar. Frank Mallinger, 21 Jul 1893.
John Greenberry Shirkey, b. 1832 d. 1887, son of David and Polly Samuels Shirkey. Polly dtr of Greenberry Samuels, b. 1777, PA. Will dated Feb. 1850 lists David Shirkey as son-in-law. From Kanawha Co., Will records. Grandson listed was Granberry Thomas Shirkey.
John A. Shirkey (#2 above)b. 14 Feb 1855. I have no other info on him. This could be an error as mother would have been 49 years old. However, others were born in 2-year increments. (Not impossible as my younger brother was born when my mother was 47.) I have found where several children had the same name, usually when one died young.
