I am a historical document collector and dealer and recently purchased a large group of documents from 1845-1852 that originally belonged to an attorney from Lancaster Pennsylvania that specialized in procuring pensions for veterans or their widows from the Revolutionary War, War of 1812 and the Mexican War.

One of these documents is an IOU to Emanuel Shober, innkeeper from a John Killinger dated July 31st, 1850. Killinger was going to pay Shober out of his pension check.
