Came across a letter from a Maxiene Gieringer written in the 1960's. It mentions a book called"Beaver Velley Pioneers" by Brill. The letter states that Maria Shock was the daughter of Henry and Mary Shock who were born in Greenbrier Co.Va. Henry's Parents were Jacob Shock and Esther Bauman. She was born in Manor Pa. He Emegrated from the Rhine river of Germany to the Shenandoah Valley of Va. Henry and Mary went to Ross Co. Ohio in 1815. Maria Shock had a brother Andrew, who was Pike co commisioner as well as a justice of the peace.
Does this fit with your line of shocks?
