Dear Terry, My sister found a Jacob Shock that arrived in Philadelphia in 1743 on a ship named "Two Brothers". He settled in PA and later fought in the Revolutionary War, a member of Captain Weiracks, "Northumberland Rangers". The only info on his family was a son named Mathias. Nothing on Mathias' family except a son named Jacob. This is where our info begins to take shape. Jacob settled in Perryopolis,PA. and married a woman named Nancy. He was born app. l796 and was listed as being in the "War of l8l2" fighting with Captian Samuel Flacks "Pennsylvania Militia". His children were, George b.l810-20, Henry b.app. l821, Francis b.app.l825, Thomas b.app.l831, Jacob b.app. l834, Elizabeth b.app.l836 and Samuel b.app.l838. If any of this seems familiar please let me know. Thank you, Renee
