WV bridge dedicated to Norville C. Shock

PFC Norville Clinton Shock,
Veterans Memorial Bridge

Marion County paid it's respects to former Pvt. 1st Class Norville Clinton Shock Friday, June 1, 2001, honoring the Purple Heart recipient by naming the $2.5 million bridge in Mannington to forever mark the sacrifice of Shock and all veterans who gave their lives defending America.
In addition, the Marion County Commission proclaimed the day in the war hero honor, stating that the commission "expresses its appreciation on behalf of all our citizens by making it public record for all time the sacrifice of Norville Shock."
