My ggg-granmother's whose name was Rosannah Shockley
had a son named John, born 1775, lived in the Montgomery
County/ Franklin County area of VA. She married Jacob
Shilling 2 Dec 1787.She also had sons Henry and Daniel and a daughter Mary when she married Jacob Shilling.I believe
he had been married previously and his son Jacob Jr.'s
mother was not Rosannah Shockley.I have not been able to
find their migration trail to this area.If you have any
ideas please let me know.

Helen Shilling Martin
